Tonight, I'm going to put my faith in the Toon again.  They are at home versus QPR in the championship.  After Saturdays 4-0 thrashing of Roy Keanes lot, and with West Brom and Boro losing last night, a win will see us go 5 points clear at the top of league.

At odds of 4/6 this is ok, but to top it up, I'm going to add Chelski into the mix - away at Apoel Nicosia.  At odds of 3/10, this will bring the total odds to 1.16, returning £23.84 if successful.

We have had a big discussion today for The Syndicate, as we are slightly behind target on our 1/3 per bet.  Anyhow, to cut a long story short, we couldn't agree on a bet to put on, so we ain't bothering.

I however will go for it here, and stick on my 10% on the four we decided not to go for.

Well I was going to stay away from this one, but after seeing Inverness come from 3-0 down, to pull back 2 and still lose 3-2, I feel like it's going to be a good one for the Toon tonight against Ipswich.

With Boro drawing and West Brom getting beat at home, the Geordies can go back to the top with a win at Ipswich today.  As I'll be watching with a few bottles of jacques, I might as well make it interesting.

I'm out all day tomorrow so have had to look at the fixtures tonight instead.  I fancy a few teams who I wouldn't normally touch with a barge pole...  Brum to beat Bolton, a sneaky feeling that MK Dons will pip Leeds, Hartlepool to beat Walsall, and Yeovil to do one over Brentford.  But, I'm going to go for my birth town team, Inverness CT to beat Partick Thistle at home.  At 11/10 this is slightly better than evens, but more importantly, it could potentially put Inverness up to third in the table.

Crewe Alexandra, Who Are They?

A fantastic start to the match meant that Crewe were never really in this game, Accrington scoring two goals within the first 6 minutes.  Crewe pulled one back just before half time, but a second early goal in the second half for Grant put the game beyond the visitors, with Procter adding a fourth and Symes a fifth. Crewe then pulled another two back before the final whistle.  5-3 the final score.
